Special Order (SO) Models.

The Volkswagen factory used standard models as the base unit for special models. Special Models (Sonderausfuhrungen) were ordered to

a VW main dealer. Each model had an SO number with a suffix indicating the special body type. Some models were fitted by VW, While

others were outfitted by specialist company's. Like standard models, special models also had a range of factory fitted (M) options.

This code refers to the camping layout and fittings for a particular model.
